Critical Keys to Success for Home Birth

For ALL mothers who desire a home birth, but ESPECIALLY for first time mothers:

You MUST realize that your first labor will very LIKELY be long, very hard, and can be exhausting. You HAVE to take extra steps of investment to make sure you are prepared in your mind, body, soul, and spirit.

Just hiring us as your midwife team will NOT be enough to support you. Imagine the type of preparation you would need to complete a triathlon times two or three! This is the level you need to be committed to for home birth, especially if this is your first labor OR your last labor was 10+ years ago.

The reason for these insistent tools is to prevent the risk of maternal exhaustion and reaching a plateau in labor, which will then lead to likely a hospital transfer. Whereas, even if someone does all of these tools, we cannot guarantee a safe home birth, but committing to them will GREATLY reduce your risk of a hospital transfer and even needing a cesarean delivery! If cost is too much of a barrier to at least do most of these, then you may need to evaluate if home birth is the right decision for you and your family.

You need to commit to at least the VAST MAJORITY of these tools to increase your chances of a successful home birth!
