Carly Waller CNM & Owner
Hello! My name is Carly Waller CNM. I am a Certified Nurse-Midwife with 23 years of experience in Womenβs Health. My experience includes being a RN in Labor & Delivery, a Public Health Nurse, Lamaze Instructor, Centering Pregnancy Coordinator, Nurse Supervisor, and finally a Midwife for the past 8 years, practicing in the birth center and hospital settings, for a total of over 430 births to date!
My scope of practice includes all low-risk pregnancy, birth, and postpartum related care, as well as lifespan care of the woman, starting from her first period (menarche) to even postmenopausal care. Certified Nurse-Midwives are also trained to handle basic primary care concerns for women!
I knew my sophomore year in college at Emory University that God called me to be a nurse, but it wasnβt until my first pregnancy in which I was cared for by a CNM, that I knew I was created to be a Midwife!
Since being in Midwifery school at East Carolina University, I knew God would have me to one day start my own practice. However, I know with all of my heart that the divine timing of His perfect will is NOW!
I am the owner of New Eden Birth & Wellness PLLC, a home birth, well-woman, and IV therapy private concierge midwifery practice in the Charlotte, Rock Hill & Ft Mill, Shelby, Hickory, Monroe, Greensboro, Winston-Salem metro areas!
I canβt wait to meet you and connect with you!
Carly is not accepting due dates between September 23rd to November 10th.

Hello! My name is Melanie Boling, CNM. I have worked in womenβs health for 28 years. My experience includes working as a labor and delivery nurse as well as caring for mothers and babies in the postpartum period. I have also served as an instructor of fetal monitoring as well as neonatal resuscitation (NRP). I have worked as a midwife for the past two years.
I knew going through nursing school that I was meant to be a labor and delivery nurse. Although the thought of becoming a midwife was something I entertained occasionally, I was busy raising a family. Besides, I had never worked with any midwives, so I wasnβt really sure what that would even mean. But God did.
As a believer, and a nurse who was struggling with burn out, I prayed for a career change. My plans were to get out of nursing altogether. But God had other plans. And so, He sent a midwife to work at the hospital where I was a labor and delivery nurse. This changed everything! The more I worked alongside this midwife, the clearer I could hear Godβs voice telling me this was to be my path as well.
After graduating from ECU Midwifery School in May, 2023, I relocated to the coast of NC. I worked as a CNM at an OBGYN office who delivered babies at the local hospital. Although I loved taking care of mothers and babies, I felt that I not only needed to be closer to my home (Seagrove, NC), but that I was called into this role to offer women more options when it comes to their health care across the lifespan.
I am proud to be a part of New Eden Birth & Wellness, PLLC. I am excited to be able to serve my community and surrounding areas. I look forward to connecting with you and discussing how midwifery care can benefit you!
I service the Asheboro, Winston-Salem, Greensboro, Moore County, Sanford, and Siler City areas!
